While on a summertime fly fishing trip in Mosquito Lagoon, a mangrove snapper was not one of the species we expected to encounter that day. The tannic waters gave this fish beautifully unique coloration and, with a fly hanging out of its mouth, I captured this image to remind myself that sometimes the most unexpected moments are the most memorable.
