In July of 2018 I camped for two nights and three days at Dry Tortugas National Park, a small island occupied by Fort Jefferson, located roughly seventy miles west of Key West in the Gulf of Mexico. Most of my time there was spent on a boat fishing around the parks untouched reefs and experienced some of the best fishing the state has to offer. Not only does this place offer fantastic fishing, but the natural beauty of the park is second to none. While on land, I captured images of the Fort's magnitude, surrounded by crystal clear water. Despite being a speck on a map, The Dry Tortugas are a must visit park in Florida.
