The coastline of The Florida Everglades has been beaten by hurricanes its entire lifetime. The powerful winds and tidal surge of past hurricanes has caused the coast to receed, leaving a graveyard of what used to be lively mangrove forest. While on an annual camping trip, we ventured to the coast and I shot this image, showcasing what is left of a section of coastline after a hurricane from many years ago passed through.
